The Cavalier cross country team traveled to Dayton, TN this weekend to compete in the AAC Cross Country conference championship at Bryan College, and once again, the Cavaliers did not disappoint. Ranked third entering the meet, the Cavalier men ran strong in route to a respectable third place finish, while the Cavalier women, ranked 6th entering the meet, finished 5^th overall. Coach Herbert labeled the day as "bittersweet," after the men saw super sophomores Ryan Gehman (10^th, 26:53) and Andy Roof (12^th, 27:00) qualify for the National Championships, while Senior Captain Lauren Kelly narrowly missed qualifying (15^th, 20:33) on the challenging course at Fort Bluff.
